POSITION: CASHIER

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Cashier’s responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all transactions. Customer service is key, and the Cashier is expected to be courteous to all Customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet Customers upon arrival at the check-out counter.
Receive payment for goods via cash, cheques, debit/credit cards and shoppers’ vouchers.
Issue receipts and approved credits or refunds due to Customers.
Establish prices of goods using calculators, computerized systems, or optical price scanners.
Conduct price checks in response to Customer’s enquiries.
Close-off sales at the end of each shift, via tallying of receipts.
Promptly check-out Customers while meetings Company standards.
Assist with execution of special promotions on products.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Other duties which may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma.
At least 1 year working experience.
Familiar with electronic equipment like POS and cash operating systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent math skills.
Great attention to detail.
Valid food handler’s permit.

POSITION: INVENTORY CLERK

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for processing incoming shipments, ensure accurate records of goods and supplies, track the stock in the warehouse and retail settings, update inventory software and report any discrepancies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

An Inventory Clerk tasks includes (but not limited to) the following:

Maintaining and updating inventory records.
Conducting physical counts for variances and investigating stock variances.
Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records to the Inventory Manager.
Assisting in the supervision of the Company’s yearend stock counts.
Conducting various internal inventory audits.
Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
Other duties which may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Certificate in any Business-related field.
2 years working experience in the retail industry.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel will be an asset.
Strong mathematical skills are required.
Ability to move or lift heavy items.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION: BAKER

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Baker is responsible for the efficient operation of the bakery, creating quality baked goods using recipes and mixing techniques.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Baker duties include (but not limited to) the following:

Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked products.
Operate commercial bakery equipment, including, ovens, etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout the baking process.
Ensure all baked products meet quality and presentation standards before display or sale.
Package, label, and display bakery products in an attractive and sanitary manner.
Maintain adequate daily production levels to meet Customer demand.
Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous knowledge of Baking techniques, Deli, or Café experience.
Educational training in Baking or Culinary Arts is an asset.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced bakery environment with exposure to heat from commercial ovens.
Work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Perform duties requiring prolonged standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain excellent baking skills while demonstrating great attention to detail.

POSITION: SALES REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Representative is responsible for selling alcoholic beverages to various bars, restaurants and stores, while assisting their needs and providing excellent customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Representative tasks include (but not limited to) the following:

Communication on product offerings while promoting the wines and spirits portfolio.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Customers.
Visit local bars, restaurants and retail shops to promote products and take orders.
Assist Customers with product availability and offer suggestions of other products, as well as similar products.
Handle Customer’s questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Other duties that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
Excellent work ethic.
Passionate about customer service.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of lifting heavy items.
Valid driver’s license.
