POSITION: CASHIER
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Cashier’s responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all transactions. Customer service is key, and the Cashier is expected to be courteous to all Customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet Customers upon arrival at the check-out counter.
-
Receive payment for goods via cash, cheques, debit/credit cards and shoppers’ vouchers.
-
Issue receipts and approved credits or refunds due to Customers.
-
Establish prices of goods using calculators, computerized systems, or optical price scanners.
-
Conduct price checks in response to Customer’s enquiries.
-
Close-off sales at the end of each shift, via tallying of receipts.
-
Promptly check-out Customers while meetings Company standards.
-
Assist with execution of special promotions on products.
-
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
-
Other duties which may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
High School Diploma.
-
At least 1 year working experience.
-
Familiar with electronic equipment like POS and cash operating systems.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong organizational and time management skills.
-
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-
Excellent math skills.
-
Great attention to detail.
-
Valid food handler’s permit.
POSITION: HEAD CASHIER (NEVIS)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head Cashier is responsible for receiving payments, making daily deposits and maintaining proper bookkeeping records.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tally cash received on a daily basis.

Conduct daily bank deposits.
-
Reconcile all cash and charge bill invoices.
-
Check-off Cashier’s daily reports.
-
Proper bookkeeping of all invoices.
-
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
-
Other duties which may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Associate degree in Business related fields.
-
2 years working experience as a Cashier or a similar role.
-
Strong mathematical skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong organizational and time management skills.
-
Great attention to detail.
POSITION: INVENTORY CLERK
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for processing incoming shipments, ensure accurate records of goods and supplies, track the stock in the warehouse and retail settings, update inventory software and report any discrepancies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
An Inventory Clerk tasks includes (but not limited to) the following:

Maintaining and updating inventory records.

Conducting physical counts for variances and investigating stock variances.
-
Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records to the Inventory Manager.
-
Assisting in the supervision of the Company’s yearend stock counts.
-
Conducting various internal inventory audits.
-
Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
-
Other duties which may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Certificate in any Business-related field.
-
2 years working experience in the retail industry.
-
Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel will be an asset.
-
Strong mathematical skills are required.
-
Ability to move or lift heavy items.
-
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
